LifeCome Karu General Hospital is being positioned as the first flagship provider pathway under the LifeCome HMO model, following NCDF Group’s partnership with FCT for the concession of Karu General Hospital to LifeCome Hospitals.
Karu provides an important healthcare access point within the FCT/Karu catchment. As a flagship provider, it can demonstrate how public healthcare assets, private operational discipline, HMO coverage and digital care coordination can work together.
The hospital is expected to support outpatient care, inpatient services, diagnostics, emergency response, maternity and referral pathways, subject to the approved service scope, staffing, equipment readiness and clinical governance framework.
LifeCome HMO members under eligible plans may access Karu General Hospital as part of approved provider pathways, subject to plan benefits, authorisation rules and operational readiness.
LifeCome’s provider model will be supported by clinical governance, member verification, claims control, complaints handling and service reporting.
